About The Job

The Accounts Executive supports carry out the responsibilities of the department. The incumbent shall input all the AR and AP entries into the accounting system with compliance to The Salvation Army policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Receivable 
    • Pre-admission and admission counselling of Residents
    • Invoicing to clients
    • Fee collection
    • Follow-up on all billing related matters
  • Accounts Payable
    • Prompt processing of requisition, Purchase Orders and Invoices, including obtaining authorisation and supporting documentation
    • Monthly report - including debtors’ analysis, accounts reconciliation and other reports as required.
    • Fund Administration – in-charge of all related funding matters, reports and meeting coordination
    • Main contact point on financial reporting, grants and subvention
    • Dispensing of petty cash 
    • Preparation, monitoring and submission of budget 
    • Banking
    • Supervision of Accounts staff and provide back-up
    • Assist in operational matters when needed

5 days week, office hours

  • Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or equivalent

Preferred Candidate Attributes

  • 2 years of relevant experience working experience in similar capacity
  • Possess positive working attitude and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills, accountable and responsible attitude
  • Able to perform within tight deadlines, manage pressure & work in a team
  • Singaporean only
