About The Job

The Assistant Accountant supports carry out the responsibilities of the department. He/She is involved in work that is specific to accounts payable & fixed asset accounting.
 
The Assistant Accountant will manage the accounts payable team and reports to the Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all account payable activities
  • Maintain Fixed Assets Register 
  • Provides supervision and guidance to subordinates 
  • Reconciles inter company accounts 
  • Performs month end and year end closing process 
  • Ensures compliance with  statutory reporting requirement , policies and guidelines 

Working Hours

08.30 AM to 5.00 PM - Monday to Friday

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or ACCA

Preferred Candidate Attributes

  • 3 years working experience in similar capacity
  • Strong knowledge in accounts payable and fixed asset register
  • Possess effective written and spoken communication skills 
  • Hands on experience using Enterprise Resource Planning system (e.g. Oracle)
  • Singaporean only
